    The Role:?


    Splunk is seeking a highly analytical, problem solving, and solution oriented Sales Operations Analyst to join its Global Sales Operations team!? The candidate will be among a team responsible for scaling the business through sales systems and automation.?

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in multiple analytics and integration projects, and a strong understanding of sales, lead to order processes, territory planning and assignment.? He/she will be highly data driven, intellectually curious, creative, and able to move quickly while keeping focused on high impact projects with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely or in one of our various Splunk offices.

    What's the role??

    • Work multi-functionally with diverse groups at Splunk to find opportunities for process optimization, process redesign or development of new processes
    • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes using data and requirements-gathering techniques within GTM Systems and GTM Operations
    • Recommend process optimization enhancements and projects
    • Tease out requirements and help define success metrics?
    • Design, build and implement process automation solutions
    • Work with IT representatives to help enable process automation
    • Collaborate with product owners in the Territory Management, Account and Opportunity to Order processes to measure and report success criteria
    • Analyze existing data, design and develop methods to derive the metrics
    • Work with IT representatives to enable Analytics capabilities
    • Recommend enhancements to improve accuracy
    • Identify patterns and trends to help proactively improve the product
    • Drive GTM Systems to become more data-driven, produce and present metrics to guide decision-making from the product owner up to the steering committee
    • Build and maintain Alteryx workflows

    What we're looking for:?

    • 5+ years of business analysis / business process analysis experience
    • 5+ years of data analytics experience
    • Advanced analytical capabilities that you can apply to complex business issues
    • Strong analytic, planning, and leadership skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Alteryx highly desired?
    • Knowledge of Tableau dashboard building a plus
    • Ability to execute with autonomy and navigate ambiguity?

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics).
